The only stipulation is that you must be invited to join as a member or if you have heard about it and are seeking membership, EDT Corporate will direct you to someone in your area. EDT is an internet based marketing company and as such your only cost is the annual $49.99 website hosting fee. All phones shown on the website are available once the system is open for business. A satellite based tracking system which has the benefits of providing a patented security system. The patented security system will contact emergency services as well as up to 4 contacts. You will have to port your current number over. Please do not cancel your existing carrier or telephone number, prior to porting your telephone number over. If you place a new distributor under someone other than yourself that person now assumes the up-line position. And all bonuses and commissions are paid to them. We do not know if the phone will need to be returned at this time. 12/8/08 You will have the ability to port your phone number over. EDT utilizes a proprietary network. When making transactions through our shopping cart or enrollment form, it is the customers responsiblity to make sure their credit card or debit card billing address is accurate before they press submit. The system warns the customer not to press the submit button more than one time. If customer hits submit button multiple times then an authorized hold will be placed on the customer account multiple times. If transaction is declined, the authorized hold/pending charge will fall off customer account within two days. If transaction is accepted and authorized, it will charge the customer account. Customers that have this problem should wait 2-3 business days to see if charges fall off before contacting member services. If Customer experiences any of these problems they can wait and put in correct transaction after 72 hours or they can put in new transaction the same day with correct information, although it may appear that they have been double billed, it is actually a double authorized hold.
